Instructor: Mike Skinner
This presentation is about the life and accomplishments of Henry Ford II, who led Ford Motor Company for almost 35 years. Ford was a very colorful figure who served effectively at the top of the company founded by his namesake grandfather. This class was deliberately juxtaposed to the Edsel class, in order to create a wider perspective than that delimited by his role in that episode of the company's history.
About the Presenter: Mike Skinner is a native Detroiter who possesses bachelor and MBA degrees from Wayne State. He has been a Detroit and Ford history buff for more than a half century, and is a past president of the Dearborn and Grosse Pointe Historical societies.
